Baaghi Movie Review : Does not impress as ‘Trailer’ promised

The much awaited movie of the year ‘Baaghi’ has been released today. The story is based on the same stereotype action based romance movie. The movie gathers mixed reviews and is considered for one-time watch, if you love actions and in no mood of using brains while watching the film.

The Heropanti star, Tiger Shroff is doing his second movie with the same director Sabbir Khan. He will be seen romancing with Shraddha Kappor. The Telugu star Sudheer Babu is making his Bollywood debut in this movie. He playing the role of lead antagonist in Baaghi. The comedian Sunil Grover has been charactered as Shraddha’s father in the movie.

Baaghi is all about action and fight sequence. The story starts with Ronny (Tiger Shroff) who is a rebel in nature and goes to Kerala to fulfil his late father wish who wants to send him to a disciplinary school run by his friend where he could learn kalaripayattu, an ancient martial art. There he meets with a girl ‘Sia’ (Shraddha Kapoor) who is typical stereotype who loves rain and used to talk with herself. They fall in love with each other. The turning point of the movie is when Raghav (Sudheer Babu) kidnaps her and takes her to Bangkok and Ronny follows then to rescue her beloved.

The movie does not impresses much and the storyline contains much flaws. Tiger Shroff do justice with his action moves but fail to attract with other part of the movie. In the first half of the movie Shraddha has some role but in second she just have enters just to make her presence feel.

At last, Baaghi does not stand up to the high expectation that were made before the release of the movie. The only wow factor in the movie was the action scenes especially done by the Junior Shroff.
