Andhra Pradesh govt required 4548 Police Constable and Warden for which State Level Police Recruitment Board issued a recruitment notification on their website, candidates willing to serve in the state as Police required to fill application before the last date i.e 14 September 2016, the application will be submitted through Online mode only in a prescribed proforma it will be available on website from 3 August 2016 as per the given dates no application will be entertained after the last date of application.
The Preliminary Written Test of Andhra Pradesh Police constable vacancy will be held on 16.10.2016(SUNDAY) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM.(3 hours). The registered candidates may download their Hall Ticket from the website 10 days before the date of Preliminary Written Test.

For the post code Nos. 21 and 22 :
- A person who is a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on the date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998.
- in the case of all other candidates, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1998.
For the post code no. 53 & 54 : Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998.
The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2016, Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2016, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.
Physical Standards: The candidates should meet the following requirements
i) For the post code nos. 21 and 22:
Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms.
Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
a) Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms
b) Weight: Must not be less than 40 kgs
For the post code no. 53:
a) Height: Must not be less than 168 cms.
b) Chest: Must not be less than 87 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms
For the Post Code No. 54:
a) Height: Must not be less than 153 cms.
b) Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs.
A prescribed fee for OCs/BCs is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) and for SCs/STs is Rs. 150/– (One Hundred Fifty only) towards Applications Processing and Examination.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
I Step: The candidate has to visit any of the Mee Seva (e-Seva) / AP Online/ TS Online centres to pay the prescribed Registration Fee by providing his / her Basic personal details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community and SSC Hall Ticket Number or its equivalent. Amount should be credited in favour of Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh.
II Step: After receiving the Payment Receipt from Mee Seva (e-Seva) / AP Online/ TS Online, the candidate has to visit the website recruitment.appolice.gov.in to submit the online application form. Even after making payment of fee, if the candidate fails to submit the Online Application Form, such cases shall be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
Selection is based on the performance in Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) .
Physical Efficiency Test Standards of AP Police Constable:
Men and Women candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and one out of remaining two events as detailed below:
