PM Modi’s Wishes On Successful Launch of ISRO IRNSS-1G


Its a good news for Indians today that IRNSS- 1G successfully launched today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Congrats to the scientist and the team who involved in this mission. This technology is very helpful for every person in all aspects. The satellite set in motion from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 12.50 p.m.on Thursday, ISRO’s PSLV-C33, carrying India’s seventh navigation satellite IRNSS-1G.

IRNSS have capability to provide actual position upto 1500km, the basic use is Navigation for which persons commoly use word GPS. This is the seventh Satellite before this 6 satellites launched i.e IRNSS-1A (July 1, 2013), IRNSS-1B (April 4, 2014), IRNSS-1C (October 16, 2014), IRNSS-1D (March 28, 2015), IRNSS-1E (January 20, 2016) and IRNSS-1F (March 10, 2016).

What is IRNSS??

Indian using US based GPS to interrogate position of any person but after Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) India Own its first GPS.

“The world will know it as Navic…. The new technology will benefit our people, our fishermen. This is a great gift to people from scientists,” Modi said.

Cost of IRNSS???

Total 7 satellites developed costing around Rs.1420 crore.
