Indian National Football team goal keeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu selected for the top European League of the Football, Gurpreet becomes the first football player of India playing in top Division European League match.
Indian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Norwegian Tippeligaen club Stabæk and the India national team, Gurpreet Singh is 24 years old born in Punjab.
In 2014, Sandu signed with Stabæk but no match played by them in Norway Premiere League, however he had played 5 matches in Norway Cup. One more football player of India Mohammed Salim played in 1936 for the Stabæk FC in Scotland Premiere League but that time league was not the part of Premiere Division.
