No IPL In Mumbai After 30 April Says Bombay High Court


The IPL starts in India from 9th of April 2016, Bombay High Court orders to shift IPL matches from Maharashtra i.e Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. Their is drought situation in Maharashtra so HC decided to move upcoming match of IPL to other state.

IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said shifting of match to other venue is not easy for them all the preparations regarding game completed. Whereas Indian Premier League ready to contribute for CM funds to come up from the situation of water.

There are total 14 match scheduled in IPL 9 at Mumbai in which 1 match played and 13 remaining except final match. Wankhede Stadium is hub of cricketers so IPL committee not agree with HC decision.

Kings XI Punjab owner Ness Wadia admits that shifting of match from Maharashtra is not wrong decision and we should accept the HC statement.

MS Dhoni already placed the statement in an interview that moving of IPL from mumbai is not the permanent solution we need to find permanent solution for drought affected peoples. Shifting will not affect more instead of finding permanent solution.

It’s a big challenge for Rajeev Shukla and Anurag Thakur to move IPL from Mahrashtra, if they move which state they move when they move, what will be the Finale venue???
